Product development for assessment and therapeutic rehabilitation of persons disabled due to Aphasia
Aphasia is a chronic disability, which occurs in number of stroke survivors. The disease burden is high in society in terms of Disability Adjusted Life Years. Current technology assisted tools are unsuccessful in reaching to People With Aphasia (PWA) due to lack of linguistic, social and cultural contextualisation. The project brings in a multi-disciplinary team of experts from the domain of Neurology, Linguistics, Design and Computer Science. Thus a holistic design intervention can be achieved.
